Research degree students should include a completed copy of this in their research project registration submissions, as evidence that they have completed the mandatory training in semester 1 and 2.

The Finance Office has provided this risk assessment guidance for staff and students travelling on University business. This should be read in conjunction with the Research Office research risk assessment guidance and the Facilities Management generic risk assessment guidance as each has a different purpose.
All project registration proposals and viva submissions should include this cover sheet, confirming the student has provided the necessary documents and the DoS approves of the submission.

A copy of this report should be completed by each examiner and submitted at least one week prior to the final viva. The comments will then be distributed among the panel and will later inform the viva chair's report.
The student and DoS should each submit a separate copy of the form where the student's progress is under review for the consideration of the Graduate School Board of Studies (GSBoS). The DoS report should be written in consultation with the whole supervisory team.
